Hello, my name is

Coral Mason

Journalist

About me

I am a multimedia journalist with 20 years of experience in the field with geopolitics, culture and religion in the Middle East

News is something someone wants suppressed. Everything else is just advertising.

I majored in journalism and graduated from Istanbul University Journalism Faculty in 2003. I wrote my thesis on OECD for Islamic World and NATO.

After spending some time working in the Middle East and Europe for major news outlets, I moved to the States by the end of 2009. Since then I have held different positions for different sorts of sectors to get to know people and their customs, from working at grocery stores to working with nurses as an analyst to giving technical support to different companies. Curiosity and observing what is happening around me is one of the most important aspects about me and it helps me in my profession as a journalist.
